Changelog

(APR/18/2024) Release version!
(JUN/16/2024) IMPORTANT FIX: An issue with loading saved events that could occur
if the system used a comma as the decimal separator has been resolved.
 - If you have a saved game with previously generated events, it is strongly recommended to start a new game.

Description

With this plugin, you'll be able to save your generated events, allowing the creation of decoration systems, farming, or any other use you want to give to the generated events that will persist after leaving a map; the events will be saved per session and won't corrupt your maps.

How to install

* Download and unzip the script file, drag and drop "EventMemory.cs" to the script folder in your project folder (create the folder if it doesn't exist).

* Attach the script to a common event:

That's it!

How to use

In the database -> Cast, add the tag "$memory" to any cast you want to be saved upon generation. That's it, now just generate those events, and they will always be present on the map.

Notes

* I'm open to suggestions for future updates!

* If you find any bug, do not hesitate to let me know!

* This plugin is paid, you can use it in every project you make in Bakin, but you can't share the plugin or scripts with anyone. (No credits needed)

* Any questions I am always active on official Bakin Discord.

I wanted to make sure: is the event generated by command "generate event" (the one taken from Casts in Database) are gonna be persistent?

Yes!, but you need to place the $memory tag in the cast you want to be persistent!

Got it, thank you! (this is super useful, you are saving this app from missing functions)

Dear Jagonz, already bought this plugin, but had problem with casts events. I've did everything like in description, but my events is not saved. I put $memory tag into notes field of that event, set category to none. Created common event that has EvenMemory.cs in C# management, and this did strange thing to me. It's like it stretches the graphics of those events and the events change positions, too... Not sure how to describe this ,but maybe I could send you a video somehow?

Hello! I'm going to check the issue!, but, just in case, are you using a different "decimal separator" than the default dot in your system?.

like a " , " or something else?.

thank you.

Um, sorry but have no idea which one I use... I mean, I didn't changed anything with the decimal separators. Could you please point me where can I check that? Also, thank you for such a quick response and for the update.

It's ok! The last fix handles those cases, so people don't have to worry about anything about it :3
thank you!

I contacted you on Discord!
